Tour commences in Taormina and we pick you up from the train station or airport. We immediately head to the beautiful and diverse Eoilian Islands for a taste of the island lifestyle. We explore the picturesque island of Salina and pop over the sister islands such as Panarea as well! Soak up the island way of life and dine on the freshest fruits of the sea.
Relax, swim, wine and dine on the magical island of Salina. Wander through winding streets and discover island life at its best - the day is yours! Malvasia wines and fat juicy capers are just two of the local produce in Salina you can enjoy.
Taking the boat back to the mainland of Sicily, we commence our journey to the north-west region and to check out some stunning towns that most tourists never get to see such Trapani and San Vito Lo Capo. We will stop on the way for a 12 course lunch (yes I said 12 - it's not a typo!)
We explore the shimmering pools of the salt plains and windmill dotted area of Trapani in the morning and then head south a little to Marsala (famous for its sweet wines which we will have to taste) and the stunning town of Marzara Del Vallo with its baroque architecture.
We go deep south today! Stopping off half-way down the west coast to see the famous Scala dei Turchi, a world heritage site, and then to the southern most town in Sicily, Pozzallo, to enjoy a night on the town before crossing to Malta.
Day 6 and 7
We pop over to Malta on the ferry from Pozzallo and spend two days discover the delightful and fascinating Maltese culture and explore this tiny country. Surrounded by stunning blue waters, we will explore this tiny archipelago whilst learning about its 7000 years of history and the famous Knights of Malta.
Back to Sicily today and stop off in an amazing town for some local fare in Modica before we head to charming Siracusa for the last night together. We will explore the famous Castello of Ortigia or the Ear of Dionysus and dine on the waterfront of Siracusa's deep green waters.
A relaxing morning before we head northeast of Sicily to Catania and Taormina - depending on your next travel destination and mode of transport.
